Touratech Travel Event 2010 It was great to see many of you at our recent travel event, we hope you all had a great time on our site, out on a ride or up watching (or taking part) on the UK round of the BMW GS Challenge which was run alongside the Touratech Travel Event by BMW Motorrad UK. This years event was our third and we decided to host it in the summer and make the most of the weather. Well we were not disappointed as the sun beat down on the whole event from the set up to the break down. Along with road and Off-Road rides we also had talks on puncture repair, cooking, survival techniques and much more which all cumulated in an evening 'chat show' with comedy duo Ewan and Thingy followed by a sing around the campfire lead by Thingy and our own Graham 'Fuzzy Whiskers' Ashby. Thanks go to all the people who helped in the set up of the event, helped to man the off-road site and lead the road rides and of course to everyone who attended the event. We’re always of course looking to improve the event year on year so feedback in very important to us. In previous years we mainly had comments about the toilets and this year we believe we have solved this. But let us know if there are any improvements you would like to see for next year.
