       
National Motorcycle and Scooter Show 2007 – Birmingham NEC
We decided to take a risk for this years NEC show and booked the biggest stand that we have ever had at any show so far and we are glad to say it worked well. After a lot of sleepless nights we finally found ourselves meeting our colleagues from Germany at this years show to start the long job of setting up our stand. Those of you who visited us at the show will remember our centrepiece – a rock based stand (weighing no less than 350kg) holding 4 screens showing our DVD’s. Around this were 10 fully kitted out demonstrator bikes.

We were lucky enough to have various visits from Charley Boorman over the duration of the first weekend of the show and to follow up from this we invited Claudio Von Planta (the Cameraman from Long Way Round/Down and Race to Dakar) to visit the stand and talk to people about his experiences on these three very popular projects.
It was great to see a lot of our customers coming along to say hello at the show and it is always nice to chat with people about our products and of course show them fitted to our demonstrator bikes and give out some of our catalogues. Over the duration of the show approximately 20,000 catalogues were given away on the Touratech stand.
